Now I will continue to say something about the set of DVD-RW driver. After one time that I tested the driver working successfully, I took it out and wanted to use it again. But problem occurred.<\/span><\/p>\n

After I connected the USB to IDE line to one UBS interface on my computer, I found that the system did not recognize it and there was no diver icon in the page of \u201cMy Computer\u201d with a signal of \u201cUnknown Device\u201d in the page of \u201cDevice Management\u201d. Then I seek the answer for long time and found that there might be two reasons on my computer. Firstly, I believed that the set of DVD-RW driver was still working well.<\/span><\/p>\n

One reason was related to the hardware of my computer. In many situations just like that, there might be the problem of the low voltage and driving power of the USB interface. That was right. One interface of mine might be in that way. So I changed to another one I usually put the U storage device into.<\/span><\/p>\n

Another reason was related to the software or the configuration of the operation system. The USB to IDE line is supported by the protocol of USB 2.0 and the driver version of the USB interfaces on my computer should be matched to the same version. Then I found that in the page of \u201cDevice Management\u201d showed that version of the interface with \u201cVIA USB Enhanced Host Controller\u201d while the mouse connected to it is OK. So this might be the second problem and the USB driver version should be updated to \u201cVIA USB 2.0 Enhanced Host Controller\u201d with the supported sys files.<\/span> <\/span><\/p>\n

I found one website http:\/\/driveragent.com<\/a> that can test the drivers of the hardware on my computer. After testing, it showed that \u201cVIA USB Enhanced Host Controller\u201d was not the latest and could be updated from Microsoft KB908673 (Problems may occur when you try to transfer files to or from a device that is connected to a USB 2.0 hub in Microsoft Windows XP. You can go to the following page to see the detailed information: http:\/\/support.microsoft.com\/kb\/908673<\/a>.) But I found that it only give us the updating with English version while the edition with simple Chinese is banned to install. <\/span><\/p>\n

Then I had to continue to find the updating files and on one forum I found them! The two key sys files: USBEHCI.SYS, USBPORT.SYS can be downloaded on the following page: http:\/\/benyouhui.it168.com\/thread-462717-1-1.html<\/a>. Then you can copy these files to the driver file package (Usually the path of C:WindowsSystem32Drivers) or you can update the driver of \u201cVIA USB Enhanced Host Controller\u201d to \u201cVIA USB 2.0 Enhanced Host Controller\u201d with these sys files. (The following picture shows the situation I have updated.)<\/span><\/p>\n

You try to transfer files to or from a device that is connected to a universal serial bus (USB) 2.0 hub in Microsoft Windows XP. When you do this, you may experience one or more of the following symptoms: <\/span><\/p>\n

When you try to transfer files, the file transfer fails. You may receive an error message about a delayed write failure. The error message that you receive may vary, depending on the device that you are using.<\/span><\/p>\n

Other USB devices that are connected to the USB 2.0 hub may stop working. You may receive notification that the USB devices have been disconnected or reconnected. <\/span><\/p>\n

Power may be disabled on USB devices. Then, the devices are reenumerated. <\/span><\/p>\n

A USB keyboard may stop working correctly. For example, the behavior of keys may be irregular. When you press a key, the key entry may be repeated many times. Alternatively, when you press a key, nothing may occur at all. <\/span><\/p>\n

Note: Some computers have an internal USB 2.0 hub. For example, a portable computer may have a single USB bus and may use an internal USB hub to provide two or more available USB ports on the computer. Therefore, this issue may occur if the device is connected directly to a USB port on the computer. <\/span><\/p>\n

This issue may also occur if the device is internal and is connected internally to the internal USB 2.0 hub. For example, this problem might occur if you use a portable computer that has an internal Bluetooth radio that is connected to an internal USB 2.0 hub. When you use this Bluetooth device to transfer the files to another device, you may experience the symptoms that are described in the “Symptoms” section.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u60a8\u5c1d\u8bd5\u4f20\u8f93\u5230\u6216\u4ece\u8bbe\u5907\u8fde\u63a5\u5230\u901a\u7528\u4e32\u884c\u603b\u7ebf<\/span>(USB)2.0<\/span>\u6587\u4ef6<\/span>Microsoft WindowsXP<\/span>\u4e2d\u96c6\u7ebf\u5668\u3002<\/span> <\/span>\u8fd9\u6837\u505a<\/span>, <\/span>\u53ef\u80fd\u4f1a\u9047\u5230\u4e00\u4e2a\u6216\u591a\u4e2a\u4ee5\u4e0b\u75c7\u72b6\uff1a<\/span> <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
